ATLANTIC STREET CENTER 
Atlantic Street Center is recruiting for a Family Center Manager, Youth Development Coordinator and Youth Development Teen LEAD. Rainier Beach Family Center Manager (FT) : BA in Social Sciences or related field required. Supervisory experience required. MA related field preferred. Responsible for program planning and development; site management; employee supervision; establishing and maintaining collaborative community relationships; marketing/public relations; contract and budget management. Experience: Minimum of three years employee supervision and program management experience required. Two years paid or volunteer experience with a non profit organization required.

1. Youth Development Coordinator (FT): BA in Social Sciences or related field required. MA strongly preferred. Responsible for the coordination and development of the Youth Development program.  Duties include but not limited to: program planning and development, employee supervision; community networking; establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships, managing data for contract outcomes reporting; public relations contract and budget management.  Experience: Minimum of three years employee supervision and program management experience required. Two years paid or volunteer experience with a non profit organization required.

2. Youth Development, Teen LEAD New Program (PT) 30 hrs per week: BA in Social work, psychology or related field preferred. MSW strongly preferred. Duties include but not limited to: pead recruitment efforts for Teen LEAD Campus Group – 35 teens (middle – high school) to represent the diversity of New Holly: age, grade, gender, income, ethnicity, program involvement, etc. Coordinate/facilitate program meetings for Campus Group, core Group and parents. Work and establish clear collaborative agreements Campus agencies to ensure youth and family engagement and program development for Teen LEAD. Experience: Minimum two years successful experience working with youth and program planning.  Paid or volunteer experience with non profit organizations is required.

Refugee School Impact Grant Program Manager
(Temporary Assignment not to exceed 6 months - Refugee Candidates Strongly Encouraged to Apply)

Overview:  School’s Out Washington (SOWA) is a statewide organization, (hosted by the YWCA of Seattle, King, Snohomish) serving the field of afterschool throughout Washington State.  School’s Out Washington is dedicated to building community systems to support quality afterschool programs for Washington’s 5-18 year olds through training, advocacy and leadership.

Position Summary:  School’s Out Washington is seeking a highly organized and energetic person to strengthen our team.  The Refugee School Impact Grant Project Manager leads strategic planning, data analysis and evaluation development efforts for the Refugee School Impact Grant project.  This is an opportunity to support funding, training, and resource systems that provide services to professionals working with refugee children and youth across the state of Washington and beyond.

Reports to:  School’s Out Washington Refugee School Impact Grant Project Director
Location:  801 23rd Avenue South, Suite A, Seattle, WA  98144

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop qualitative evaluation tool for current grantees;
• Survey current grantees to gather information for qualitative evaluation;
• Write qualitative evaluation report;
• Develop strategic planning process;
• Coordinate logistics for strategic planning activities;
• Conduct focus groups with stakeholders, including refugee youth, refugee parents, grantees, and community members;
• Write strategic plan;
• Oversee subcontract for evaluation consultation;
• Work with evaluation consultants to develop tools for measuring future grant outcomes;
• Research existing data sources on refugee students;
• Collect statewide data on refugee students;
• Analyze data gaps and develop recommendations for improving data collection;
• Create internal systems for collecting grant data;
• Write data report;

Other Responsibilities
• Serve as an ambassador for the organization at all times both formally and informally;
• Participate in related project meetings and weekly staff meetings;
• Represent SOWA at meetings, conferences and other community events providing support as needed;
• Support ongoing organizational cultural competency;
• Complete documentation and reporting as required by funding sources;
• Work in coordination with Publications, Technology and Systems Coordinator to maintain a comprehensive database;
• Work with consultants in completing organizational assessments and participating in the implementation of recommendations;
• Assist with other special projects;
• Perform other duties as assigned;
• Work a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend work, and overnight stays;

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience;
• Experience and knowledge of refugee communities preferred;
• Experience working on strategic planning and evaluation tools;
• Excellent writing skills;
• Commitment to working with diverse individuals, groups, communities and organizations;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
• Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Access, PowerPoint;
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail;
• Commitment to addressing racism, sexism, heterosexism and other discriminatory practices.

HOURS, RATE, BENEFITS
• TEMPORARY- Not to exceed  6-MONTHS, 40 hours per week, M-F
• Salary Range $20.30-$25.38/hour, DOE
• Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Classification:  Exempt
• Position does not include any benefit packages.
