Chemical Dependency/Domestic Violence/Mental Health/Sexual Assault Systems Coordinator
80% time (approximately 32 hours a week)
Position Summary:
The King County Coalition Against Domestic Violence is hiring a systems coordinator to work to improve relationships and cross disciplinary coordination and expertise between chemical dependency (CD), domestic violence (DV), mental health (MH), and sexual assault (SA) programs across King County.
Responsibilities Include:
Facilitating the development/strengthening of relationships between DV, SA, MH and CD agencies across King County, developing mechanisms for ongoing communication and consultation among agencies, developing and coordinating cross-disciplinary training programs, and making recommendations for improved policy and practice around domestic violence, sexual assault, mental health, and chemical dependency issues.
Requirements include:
Proven experience leading strategic planning processes and in fostering collaboration between individuals and agencies from diverse professional fields. Thorough understanding of clinical and advocacy issues facing survivors of domestic and sexual assault who have mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Experience developing and implementing professional training programs, and excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Compensation:
$43,200/ year for approximately 32 hours a week, plus medical, dental, retirement benefits, paid holiday, vacation and sick leave.
