Linda Shepard Salzer, M.A. Environment & Community 2004

October 12, 2009 by admin

Linda Shepard Salzer serves on the Green Team of the social services agency where she works.  She has made hundreds of cloth napkins (from fabric from freecyclers) for use at the cafe and group homes.  With fabric scraps remaining from that project, she has made a number of quilted Eco-checkers sets with juice lids for checkers for the waiting room and day programs.  She recently got 50 free water efficiency kits (low flow shower heads, bathroom and kitchen sink aerators, dye packets to detect toilet leaks, and indoor and outdoor water saving tip brochures) and began distributing them to the agency’s various programs.  She also helps facilitate office recycling.
