“I am pleased to share that I was named the 2009 Outstanding Formal Environmental Educator by the Environmental Association of Washington. I’ve been really lucky to teach the district adopted curriculum of physical science topics through the lens of sustainability. Most mornings my students welcome the sun by deploying a small solar array to offset our electrical needs with renewable energy.
